CELTA Adelaide: Course Content

The CELTA course includes a robust mix of expert instruction in methodology, language analysis, and teaching practice.

Our TEFL trainees will engage in 120 contact hours and dedicate an additional 80 hours for home study. You'll be involved in 6 hours of real teaching practice, coupled with observation, feedback sessions, and a minimum of 6 hours observing an experienced CELTA-qualified teacher.

Course Schedule: Adelaide

  • 10 or 12 week part-time TESOL course that is delivered 100% online and combines self-guided study and real-time teaching practice coordinated by your tutor.
  • The online sessions provide a mix of practical and theoretical instruction, all accessible through the Moodle learning platform with support from your tutor. Your lesson planning and teaching practice take place on Zoom, under the guidance of your course tutor.
  • Full-time 4-week course: Runs Monday to Friday, from 9:00 - 17:30.
